Volunteer Opportunities at FAE (2019-2020)
our volunteers help us in so many ways
It doesn’t matter if the event is large or small, chances are we'll need help! That’s where volunteers come into the picture! Our needs change based on current events, adding flexibility to get you involved in an area that inspires you!
What do volunteers do?
We Raise Money by helping with fundraisers, such as the Tiger Store, Santa Shop, Family Dinner Nights, and more, to make sure our kids have the resources and materials they need.
We Show Up. Class field trip chaperones, volunteer librarians, STEM days, Arts Awareness, Fall Fest, Book Fair, Fun Run - all events planned and staffed in coordination with Florida Avenue Elementary. Activities that give kids a chance to have fun and make some good memories.
We welcome everyone who wishes to donate their time and talents to both directly and indirectly support FAE teachers, faculty and staff through programs and projects that enhance and enrich their curriculum and educational goals, as well as the overall student experience.
Some of the ways we've relied on volunteers in the past have included:
- Fundraising Event Help
- Teacher Support
- Teacher Appreciation
- School Beautification
- Tiger Store/Santa Shop
Donations are also gratefully accepted to provide teacher supplies for classrooms and to meet our sponsorship goals.
